Dungeons & Dragons Game for Tweens/Teens

Calling all Young Adults to come play "Dungeons and Dragons"- a pen and paper role playing game (RPG). These characters embark upon imaginary adventures within a fantasy setting. A Dungeon Master (DM) serves as the game's referee and storyteller, while maintaining the setting in which the adventures occur, and playing the role of the inhabitants of the game world. The characters form a party and they interact with the setting's inhabitants and each other. Players act as a group of adventurers working together to complete quests, slay monsters, and achieve their own personal goals.

The Florida Public Library will be hosting the Dungeons & Dragons program over Zoom for 4th grade through high school!

After you register below, an e-mail will be sent to you with an invitation to the Zoom game through the email provided at the time of sign up. Sign up for each event that you plan to attend.

Each week, kits will be available to pick up the Saturday before. A trivia question from a book will also be featured. 2. If you already have an account, Log In. If not then Register (both buttons in the upper right corner). If you’re using an existing account, after logging in, you’ll need to need to click “Enroll” next to your username.

Tween Mason Jar Magic

Tween Club is geared for students in grades 3 to 5. Pick up a mason jar kit each week and create recipes that you can enjoy yourself or giveaway!

Tuesdays on the Deck

Join us on the deck Tuesday afternoons, anytime between 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. There will be hands-on art activities to help us get ready for our Summer Reading Program and more "Mini Mason Jar" magic! Please register below to make sure there are enough supplies.  Masks are required and we will be social distancing.

April 6 - Make bamboo! Create Mini Mason Jar popcorn flavors.
April 13 - Paint a forest! Create different scented candles in our Mini Mason Jars.
April 20 - Create icy mountains. Celebrate Earth Day with a Mason Jar Terrarium!

Rhymetime with Miss Maria is our library time for infants & toddlers (12 to 35 months). We'll sing songs, recite rhymes, practice some gross motor skills, and share stories to help build early literacy skills and reading readiness. Get ready to celebrate in our weekly series of fun!

We have a variety of topics to help you learn about all kinds of technology including software, hardware, the internet, and more. Note the new day and time: Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.!
